This Grade II lighthouse is located in the Welsh city of Newport close to the River Usk. It features seven bedrooms, two kitchens and a rooftop bar with a hot tub!
The quirky property was originally constructed in 1821 by Scottish civil engineer, James Walker. This was his first project; he later went on to make 21 lighthouses!

The semi-derelict property was bought by a couple in 1987 where they spent 30 years to fully restore it into what is now, a flourishing bed and breakfast and a very popular wedding venue.
It was awarded the title of Wedding Venue of the Year for South-East Wales at the Welsh Wedding awards in 2018.

The property is very distinct in its design, with its circumference being bigger than its height, floor to ceiling windows throughout and a stone spiral staircase going through the centre.

Chewton Rose, the estate agents marketing the property, described it as “ a stunning and truly unique home, which captures incredible views out across the coastline and sea.”
