Landlords – stay on the top of your game

February 5, 2014

In a time of increasing regulation and expectation, private landlords now need to be more vigilant than ever before of the social and legislative pressures that can impact their business.

The Residential Landlords Association offers courses throughout the UK on a wide range of issues affecting landlords and letting agents – including property repairs, landlord safety, the principles of letting and many more. They have been working with individual landlords, groups, companies and local councils in delivering high quality learning at affordable prices.

Visit the RLA Website for a full list of the courses offered.

The Property Eye section of our website is also a great place to keep up to date with everything that’s going on in the lettings industry.

According to research from Paragon Mortgages, confidence among landlords remains at a record high going into 2014.

38% of those surveyed said that they were feeling optimistic about the performance of their portfolios in the year ahead, with 33% saying that they expected the overall value to increase and over a fifth expecting to increase their portfolios in 2014.
