Landlord’s Household Policies

RGA may charge fees which are dependent on your policy type and insurer. These fees are varied, but will be included in the total cost of your policy. The only fees you may incur after purchasing your policy may be cancellation fees only. Please see our cancellation policy for more details.

The total premium, fees and tax you are charged on your policy will be made available to you at the time of purchase.

A description of the fees applicable are explained below:

Admin Fee:

This is a standard charge for issuing the insurance documents for new and renewal business.

Building Sum insured Admin Fee
All Sum Insured £15.00

This fee is not refundable when the policy is cancelled after 14 days of your policy start date.

Policy Fee:

The policy fee is a set price and is designed to develop and improve customer service.

This fee provides unlimited amendments and mid-term adjustments at no additional cost to the policy holder, throughout the duration of the policy, unless the adjustments incur additional underwriting risk.

This fee is also charged for claims notification, administration and support.

The policy fee is charged depending on the size of the risk (by BSI) as follows:

Under £200,000 £26.50
£200k - £400k £53.00
Over £400k £106.00
Contents Only £10.60
